Robert M. Rauworth, LCPC

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) focused on revitalizing and strengthening relationship health for individuals, couples, and families. After spending most of my adult life in corporate America, I found myself drawn into understanding what a healthy relationship looks like. And I found it is different for all of us. But if you are willing to work at it, you do have the strengths and innate personal resources to create and maintain deep, committed relationships. My direct, strength-based, goal-oriented approach lays a clear path for clients in the counseling process.  Reconciliation and re-creation of loving relationships is the primary objective, but in cases of divorce, healthy communication, boundaries, and new roles will be established to create the best possible environment for the divided family. I strive to create an environment of acceptance and hope for all individuals, regardless of background or belief. Through my own Christian faith, I grasp that through life’s trials healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives can unfold.  If you are willing to work and stay focused, you will find that the beauty of relationship restoration far exceeds the pain and effort to reach it. And for individuals, you alone can transform your life and that of others as you recognize the strengths you possess. 

I received my graduate degree from Governors State University and am licensed in the State of Illinois.

I am a member of American Counseling Association, American Christian Counseling Association, and National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also a provider for Focus on the Family's Christian Counseling Network (CCN).
